The J&J Heritage range is all about the classic look, it looks like an old fashioned country kitchen, it has the timeless lines of simple shaker doors and a beautiful painted finish available in your choice of colour at no extra charge, however underneath it is a 100% modern kitchen made from the very best materials to provide all of the conveniences that you expect in a modern kitchen.

All J&J Heritage kitchen cabinets are set on 5 adjustable feet (that’s not a typo we use an extra one in the middle for added strength) these allow easy adjustment for any unevenness in the floor when the unit is fitted.
We use modern adjustable soft close cabinet hinges on all our cabinets as standard so the doors can be very easily removed, refitted and adjusted so that they sit perfectly in the door frame. If you prefer the look of old fashioned chrome 'But Hinges' then we can fit those instead at no extra charge, but to adjust them you have to trim the doors so we don't recommend them.
We use modern underslung, soft close and self closing drawer runners on all of our drawers, combined with solid ash or oak drawer boxes so they look superb, and work flawlessly for hundreds of thousands of openings and closings.
We assemble all of our cabinets in the huge hydraulic presses at our factory in Manchester and supply them to you as close to fully assembled as we can, when you get your kitchen units from us the doors will be hung, the units will come complete with generous lengths of plinth for the base units and a pack of spare shelf pegs, legs etc. This run of units will be made to your order and it will be delivered in the following parts.
Our Heritage Island unit is supplied in parts to be easily bolted together on site, the worktop is provided separately.
The standard set is intended to be installed as a free standing island with no plumbing or electrical appliances installed, if you would like to have a Hob, range or sink in your island then we can make a special unit for you to order please contact us with your dimensions so we can work out a suitable design.
If you are installing this run in an empty room with sound floors then installation should take less than an hour!
Both ends of the run of units will be supplied with painted end panels with a grooved detail as shown in the picture gallery.
To order this island you need to fill out the form below, we need to know the overall length and width of the island.
The shortest run that we can make in this style is 1m and the longest we can offer is a 3m, the width of the island can be 60cm, 90cm or 120cm .
You can then choose the colour for your units, choose any colour from the farrow and ball, crown or dulux ranges – just enter the name or reference, the colour of the worktop and your choice of soft close cabinet hinges or chrome but hinges. Then add the item to your basket and check out as normal, once your order is confirmed our designers will model the units as we will make them and send you a picture and if you like a google sketchup model to use in your kitchen layout design. Once you approve the model we will make and deliver your units in 4-6 weeks.
