This Nelson Oak CD / DVD storage system is a stylish and practical solution to storage and presentation of CDs, DVDs and a wide range of other items in your home. Like all of the other items in the Nelson Oak range they are made with pride in our UK factory from solid oak and real oak panels so they are usually available from stock.
The case is the same as our Large Nelson Oak bookcase but here it is supplied with eight, thinner shelves more suited to the storage of CDs and DVDs but thanks to the installation of high quality metal ladder racks with easy to adjust shelf holders inside the bookcases you can decide the pitch of the shelves so that you can easily accommodate books or mix books of different sizes with CDs DVDs or other items. Of course you don't need to use the shelves if you need to accommodate larger items.
Additional bookshelves or CD shelves are available to suit our 1m wide cases along with other items, you can use these to customise your case into a practical and low cost display solution for your home. Custom width and height versions of this product are also available so that you can completely fill a wall with bookcases should you so wish, see the 'works well with' section below for more information about custom products
The nelson oak range is designed to look fantastic when you put several of these together along a wall so there are no protrusions to stop them fitting together to form an impressive and effective wall of books, DVDs and CDs.
The 9 shelves on the unit are each 90cm wide and 28.5cm front to back so each of them can hold 90 10mm thick CDs or 60 15mm thick DVDs if you put them on the shelf one item deep. The shelves are just the right size so that if you want you can 'double them up' to store 1,620 CDs or DVDs - but of course you will only have easy access to the front ones if you do that, but if you have ripped them all to iTunes or similar this gives you a great way to store them.
This unit comes with a 5 year warranty against failures of the racks or cracking of the wood – ask our competitors if they offer a similar guarantee, then buy from us!

The Nelson Oak range is normally shipped with a clear lacquer finish that brings out the grain of the Oak, but it is also available stained in almost any shade or painted if you add our 'Paint to Order' service to your order from the Optional Extras Tab.
