Our Custom version of the Nelson Oak bookcases are a stylish and practical solution to storage and presentation of books, CDs, DVDs and a wide range of other items in your home, they are made in our UK factory from solid oak, engineered board and high quality veneered pannels to any size that you request from 50cm wide to 130cm wide and from 100cm to 240cm tall. Thanks to the installation of high quality metal ladder racks inside the bookcases you can decide the pitch of the shelves so that you can easily accommodate oversize books or mix books of different sizes with CDs DVDs or other items. We supply enough shelves to set them out 30cm apart, but of course you don't need to use them all if you need to accommodate larger items.

After you order your bookcase through the Zutux site our designers will send you a scale drawing of the bookcase as ordered by e-mail for you to check and sign off, you are free to discuss the order with the designer over e-mail or by phone and make changes as you see fit, then the order will be passed to the factory for manufacturing and should be delivered to you fully assembled within 14 days of your sign off.

To add this item to your basket first fill out your required width and height in the form below, the figures specified are the outside width and height of the bookcase, the sides of the case are about 50mm thick. The width limit is imposed to stop the shelves sagging under weight, the height limit is for transportation, if they are properly fixed to the wall a second set of bookcases can be added on top of the first to give an overall height of up to 3.5meters.

This Oak custom built bookcase is normally shipped with a clear lacquer finish that brings out the grain of the Oak, but it is also available stained in almost any shade or painted at no extra cost, simply specify your colour when you confirm the size or send us a sample after you order.

It is reassuring that there still British companies producing excellent craft work in natural timbers and quality eye for detail.Delivery was on time and the delivery guys experienced some difficulty in getting the items into the house ,but with perseverence and ingenuity they succeeded ,and without damaging the articles. High praise for the Zutux team ,particularly the informational e-mails and keeping to your time table. Finally the competitive pricing of your goods certainly puts many of your competitors to shame!

98% Very, Very Good Bookcases

I was a bit nervous about ordering 5 of these over the internet so i drove up to Manchester to see them before I ordered, I was impressed by Neil and by the factory so I took the plunge and ordered 5 units to fit out my 'library' in the spare bedroom. They were delivered last week and I am so pleased I can't say it enough, they were made to fit exactly in the room and they look amazing, they are very heavy and solid, the adjustable shelves work brilliantly - the best £2,000 I have ever spent on furniture!

Excellent bookcases, really fantastic quality, nice finish and well proportioned. Excellent value for money. Well packed and good delivery service. If I need any more, I will absolutely buy these again. I cannot fault these at any price. I ordered 125 x 240 high, be careful though: it was very tight to get them into the room I wanted them in - measure the door size and check access carefully, I just got them in and no more! 10/10
