Our standard size Blanc bookcase system is a stylish and practical solution to storage and presentation of books, CDs, DVDs and a wide range of other items in your home. They are made with pride in our UK factory from solid hardwood and MDF finished with a high quality satin paint finish.
Thanks to the installation of high quality metal ladder racks with easy to adjust shelf holders inside the bookcases you can decide the pitch of the shelves so that you can easily accommodate oversize books or mix books of different sizes with CDs DVDs or other items. We supply bookcases with enough shelves to set them out around 30cm apart, but of course you don't need to use them all if you need to accommodate larger items.

Additional shelves or thinner CD shelves are available to suit our standard width bookcases along with add in drawer packs and display cabinets in painted finishes or natural woods. You can use these to customise your bookcases into a practical and low cost display solution for your home, see the accessories section below for more information about these options.

Custom width and height versions of this product are also available so that you can completely fill a wall with bookcases should you so wish, see the 'works well with' section below for more information about custom bookcases

The Blanc range is designed to look fantastic when you put several bookcases together along a wall so there are no protrusions to stop them fitting together to form an impressive and effective wall of bookcases, if you need us to make your bookcase up to 50mm taller, shorter, narrower or wider then we can do that without any extra charge - please let us know by using the comments field when you check out.

Each bookcase comes with a 5 year warranty against failures of the racks or cracking of the wood – ask our competitors if they offer a similar guarantee, then buy from us!

The Blanc bookcase range is normally offered in White, Black or Red, but is also available painted in the colour of your choice if you add the 'paint to order' option to your order then send us a sample or colour chart reference after you order, we can use paints from the Dulux, Crown or Farrow and Ball ranges or match others.

When ordered in White, the blanc bookcase range makes a great blank canvas to which you can add your own decoration using stencils or by hand painting.

We strongly recommend that all bookcases over 1.2m tall are securely fixed to a solid wall for safety.

98%  J &J Blanc Very Large Bookcase with 6 Adjustable shelves.

Just received delivery and want to compliment you on your service. The quality is fantastic both in terms of the assembly and finish of the wood. The only problem was I only received five adjustable shelves not six.
